Company first incorporated. The company is probably actually 150 years older than that.

Ludwig Christian Lauer takes over the running of the company.
1854
Conversion from manual to rapid moulding presses. These are operated using hydropower.
1893
Founding of the first subsidiary in Berlin.
1906
Another change of ownership. Mr Gustav Rockstroh takes over the running of the company.
1953
Lauer starts manufacturing components for the hi-fi industry. Casings, placards and decorative frames are manufactured.
1980
Perforated sheets and expanded metals are processed for the car industry for the first time.
